WHAT'S HAPPENING

Paddling For A Cure was a success again this year.  We want to thank everyone who paddled, volunteered, baked,  and sent in donations. The list of supporters this year was truly amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A  check was presented to the American Cancer Society for $11,982.00. Anyone who collected pledges but did not paddle or come down because
of the weather may mail their donations to The Alplaus Ladies Auxiliary P. O. Box 43 Alplaus, New York 12008.  We will keep you updated as the amount of donations increase.  A special thank you to the members of the Alplaus Volunteer Fire
Department  who  take time out of their day(s) to assist the auxiliary in setting up  and breaking down the event.  Your presence is invaluable to us at this event in more ways then one.

What A Great 4th of July! Despite the rain during the Firefighter Challenge, it turned out to be a beautiful 4th of July extended weekend. Congratulations to Mike Sheppeck, and the parade committee for their tireless work. A very special thanks to the fire companies, ladies auxiliaries, marchers, floats, vintage autos, and the pipe and swing bands for making the parade great! If you have pictures of any of the events and would like to share them, please contact us by clicking here.

Yates Farm Development is passed. A special thank you to the residents of Alplaus, unfortunately the project will be going through. There are still traffic, water runoff and other issues that need to be addressed, but it was still passed.

Sewers are here! How are they doing? Let us know. Click here to email Alplaus.org.
